How neighbours connect on the Ridge

A neighbourhood is really just the people in it. Alongside our one-off events, we're getting a handful of regular walks and rides going so we cross paths week to week — on the trails, around the parkland, and out on the quiet streets. Everyone's welcome, whatever your pace.

Fancy starting a group?

A running club, a garden swap, a book night, a stroller walk — if you'd enjoy it, chances are a few neighbours would too. We'll help you spread the word and find a first handful of people.

Good neighbours on the trails

Our trails, park and fields are shared by everyone — kids, dogs, walkers, riders, and the wildlife that was here first. A few gentle habits keep them a joy for all of us.

Mind the dogs

Leash up around little ones and other dogs, and always pick up after your pup — carry a spare bag or two for a neighbour who's run out.

Share the path

A friendly hello goes a long way. Riders, slow down and call out when passing; walkers, keep an ear open and make a little room.

Respect the parkland

Keep to the paths where you can, take your litter home, and give the fields and plantings time to grow. Leave each spot as lovely as you found it.

Thanks for looking out for each other — it's what makes this place feel like home.
