Printable outreach kit

Help spread the word on the Ridge

The best invitations still happen face to face. This kit gives you everything you need to introduce a neighbour to The Ridge — whether they’re online or not. Print what you like, share it, and help our little community grow.

Everything here is free to print at home. Open a sheet, then choose Print or Save as PDF from your browser — each page is already sized for a standard Letter sheet.

Grab a sheet and print it

Each link opens a clean, paper-ready page with a print button at the top.

One-page flyer

A warm one-pager that explains who we are and how to join, with a scan-to-join QR code. Great for coffee-shop boards, mailboxes, and community notice boards.

Opens a print-ready page — then Print or Save as PDF.

Door-hanger / poster

Big QR, few words. Hang it on a doorknob or pin it to a board so a quick scan gets a neighbour onto the mailing list.

Door-to-door sign-up sheet

A printable sheet with room for a dozen neighbours to add their name, street and email while you chat at the door. Includes a consent line.

Pre-made PDF copies may also be added under /downloads/ for easy sharing — check there if you’d rather grab a finished file than print from the browser.

How to canvass door-to-door

A friendly knock goes a long way. Here’s the short version:

  1. Pack light. Bring the sign-up sheet and a few flyers on a clipboard.
  2. Be friendly, keep it short. Introduce yourself, mention you live nearby, and invite — never pressure.
  3. Remember who’s not online. Plenty of neighbours don’t use social media — the paper sheet is how we reach them.
  4. Nobody home? Tuck a flyer by the door so they can join on their own time.
  5. Hand it in. Give your completed sheet to Ron and he’ll add everyone to the list.

The sign-up sheet already includes a consent line, so neighbours know they’re agreeing to occasional email — and can unsubscribe anytime.
